Well, I have been recently started using sabnzbd on my pc and my nas and was very happy. On my PC it stills works really great.
I have a problem on my QNAP 209 Pro II now though since I installed it via ipkg py24-sabnzbd I have version 0.25 which does not support postids anymore now (due to newzbin v2 being stopped)
Unfortunately there is no ipkg update available, so I have to update it somehow manually but I really can't figure this out and I don't want to screw up my NAS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is there no ipkg for sabnzbd+?
Try:
Code:
ipkg install py-sabnzbdplus

Edit: If not, check out here: http://buffalo.nas-central.org/index.php/Sabnzbdplus

thanks switch, there was no updated ikpg package but I managed to install and start it manually
The only thing I can't figure out yet how to autostart it when the box is turned on.
Any clue?

For an example of a start/stop script see: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=768.0

You will need to hook this script into the init.d facility of QNAP.
Look in http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-opersys.html section 9.3

Hi All,

QNAP now provides an easy way to install SABnzbd+ called QPKG in which you can browse the .qpkg file and upload to QNAP NAS (all models) and it will automatically do everything for you (including unrar, par verify, etc). You can instantly start downloading nzbs right away. See here for more infos.

Regards

Andy
