Re: Valid Provider Login Times Out
I did some digging and it's DNS/IPv6 related... If I use the IPv4 address in the server field I can log on. Now I've disabled 'IPv6 Servers' in SAB under Config | Special | Values, it was previously set to the default of '1' (which was working fine last week). I've reverted back to using the domain ...

Re: Valid Provider Login Times Out
Yes, I've tried 119 & 583 (non-SSL) and 563 and 443 (SSL) with the same result. Nothing in my SAB config has (knowingly) changed since it was working a few days ago.shypike wrote:You're using port 563. Did you also check the box for SSL?
Edit: and yes, I checked the box when using the SSL ports.

[SOLVED] Valid Provider Login Times Out [IPv6/DNS]
Hi I've had a strange problem manifest a few days ago, I can no longer log in to my block account, SAB times out. 2015-07-19 15:09:40,207::INFO::[newswrapper:233] Failed to connect: (10060, "(10060, 'Operation timed out')") 1@block.cheapnews.eu:563 My primary account with another provider ...

Re: [MAYBE SOLVED?] download *only* pars
I've confirmed it is only par2 files. I need these less (for raw downloads) so can add par2 alone to the cleanup filter and get 99% of what I want, thanks for the assistance. (We may end up with always using +Download with a simple option like "keep original files".) I only ever use +Delet...

Re: [MAYBE SOLVED?] download *only* pars
There's another obscure option in Config->Special, "Enable Par cleanup". Check that one. Other than that, it may happen that an NZB contains some stray par2 files; those are not deleted. Personally I use extension-based cleanup in Config->General to remove stray par2 files. But that doesn...

Re: Hmm... download *only* pars
Okay so I need to come back to this as I'm not sure what the expected behavior is meant to be. Now that I've removed .par and .par2 from the cleanup filter they never get cleaned up (even with +Delete). Is this expected? This quote implies not [ emphasis added ]: Do you happen to have set a cleanup ...

Re: Processing option reset when Category changed
The Config->Category page allows you to setup attributes per category. So the idea was that when you manually set the category, the attributes change accordingly. Of course the argument can go the other way too, but that's how we looked at it. Ahh... I hadn't looked at it this way, interesting. My ...

Re: Processing option reset when Category changed
Okay thanks although IMHO 'Category' has no apparent logical relationship to 'Post Processing' therefore a manual setting shouldn't be undone. Having said this it's not something I'm going to lose sleep over!

Processing option reset when Category changed
Windows 8.1u1 Sabnzbd 0.7.18 Whenever I change the 'Category' of a download the 'Processing' setting is reset to the default. If I change the 'Category' before I change the 'Processing' option then all is fine. This is reliably repeatable on my system (i.e. every time), do other people have the same...

Re: Hmm... download *only* pars
Do you happen to have set a cleanup filter in Config->General that removes the par2 files? Otherwise SABnzbd will not delete par2 files when Download-only is selected. Just double-checked this. Thank you! And although I do feel the fool I'm happy to identify the problem, it's not an area I checked ...

[SOLVED] download *only* pars
So I feel like a bit of a fool but _sometime_ in the last 9 months or so a SAB upgrade has left me helpless... I can no longer download (and process) a collection that only includes par files... I used to be able to no trouble but now, whatever configuration I try results in: Error renaming "x&...
