Like the thread title, another pc in my network. E.g. I had an htpc running sabnzbd and controlled it with my laptop. "Remote computer" is probably the wrong term.

Thanks for the help.  I'm away from my computer but now that it's not late night or early morning, I just realized that it's probably because sabnzbd can't create the complete folder without sudo privileges.  I shall see tonight, though.  Thanks again!

If /media/Data/complete is usable in another piece of software, SABnzbd should acceopt it too. The best test is a terminal window where do test something like: echo Hello > /media/Data/complete/test.txt If that gives an error message, then there's something wrong. Crap, I just installed Linux for the first time this weekend (ext4) and looking to install sabnzbd as my first non-point-and-click application install. Is it doomed to fail?  Have you tried previous versions of sabnzbd?

Episode Butler looks like it could be great! Particularly with its integration with TVRage.com.  Still a few things I don't understand about it, like the quality question, but hopefully the developer will sort the docs/faqs and kinks out soon.  The real test will be this month when new seasons start...
