Cannot create directory error

sabnzbd seems not to be able to create directory incomplete (or complete) when I change the respective directories to my home directory. It works fine when the parent is /opt/sabnzbd/Downloads but not on any other directory I tried. /home is mounted from another drive. So sabnzbd cannot download or load anything. Any recommendations on how to solve this problem?
