For the last 2 and a half weeks I have not been able to get 1 successful download unpacked. At first I had thought it was my usenet account. After installing nzbget and trying downloads I found that everything is fine.
Here is what sab is giving me when I click on the failed download:

Re: Every download unpack failing
Is what is unpack usable?
Is the reported file actually missing?
(Look in the __unpack__title folder).

Re: Every download unpack failing
The unpack folder is empty but if I download it via nzbget the file is not missing after unpack.
Re: Every download unpack failing
What if you unpack the RAR files manually?
There's a problem that on some platforms SABnzbd cannot match the unpacked
files with the names inside the RAR files (nzbget probably doesn't check).
There's option to disable the check altogether: Config->Check result of unpacking

Re: Every download unpack failing
Once I changed the setting in the config the files are completing now but there are 0 files unpacked.

Re: Every download unpack failing
Nothing special about your sample, it downloads and unpacks fine.
On which operating system do you run SABnzbd?

Re: Every download unpack failing
Im running on windows. This is definitely a SAB issue. It is downloading files just fine. The problem is with the extraction process. It is showing it successfully extracted the files but it says 0 files were extracted. Then in the folder where the downloaded rar files are at all the downloaded files are sitting there with no extracted file. I manually extract them fine.
Re: Every download unpack failing
Please check the "Samples" option in Config->Options.
Disable it.
Disable it.
Re: Every download unpack failing
The only sample option I could find was under Config->switches->post processing then Ignore samples. I set it to OFF It was set to Do not download. Other than that I have no idea where Config->Options is located?
Re: Every download unpack failing
You're right, it's Config->Switches. Sorry.
You found the right setting. "Do not download" is a dangerous setting.
Even "Delete after dwonload" is tricky, because currently it's a bit too eager to delete files.
Keep it off.
