I have installed sabnzbd on a win7 server. When I download a nzb file, and open the file on this same machine, sabnzbd will automatically begin downloading.
Is it possible to have the same functionallity from a win7 laptop running on the same LAN? So when i open a nzb file on my laptop, it should automatically begin download the file on the win7 server.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

The most practical thing is to install a browser add-on that handles NZB files
by sending them to the server.
