How to avoid Multiple instances of the same download

Postby jmsilva22 » June 13th, 2012, 2:56 pm

For some reason I keep getting 3 or 4 instances of the same download every time I open a nzb from a website. I have to manually delete the other instances to avoid downloading the same file with a 1, 2, 3 at the end and also avoid having that usage/space discounted from my download block. Is there any setting or tip to correct this?

I am using Sab 0.6.15. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: upgraded to version 0.7 and still have the same problem

You're probably combining a Firefox add-on (like nzbStatus) and a "Watched Folder".
Don't use both, especially not when you're saving to the watched folder.

I still maintain that it's something in your setup.
A work-around is to enable duplicate checking in Config->Switches.
But you will also have to set an nzb backup folder in Config->Folders.

thanks shypike for your suggestions. sorry for my late reply but I didn't get an email notifying me of any replies for this post so I guess I need to change those settings in my account.

Anyways I am going to try what you said right now. Thanks again.
