For some reason this is all I can get SAB to download! I have a thundernews account, and I just signed up for usenetbucket. Whether I run one, the other, or both I am not seeing anything making the speed go over 1kbps. I have the connections for both of them set to 5, going through port 119 on thunder and 563 SSL on bucket, and otherwise I have not changed any settings.
My machine is an i5 4690k, overclocked to 4.5 GHz
16GB RAM
GeForce GTX 670
Win 7, 64bit
This system is certainly enough to handle usenets, lol.
Charter communications is my ISP.
I have no idea where to even get started, I have been using usenet for over a year on SAB, but until now I have never run into a problem. Now that I built this new system my speeds are trash!
Does usenetbucket have alternate servers? I can only find reader.usenetserver.com
