I keep getting this error. I did a fresh install of Couch Potato and SABNZBD on a new computer, and added two videos which came into SAB, and (still) got these two errors immediately. Can anyone help? Is it something to do with the long filenames and how can it be fixed?
cheers noddy

Re: ERROR: Saving .nzb.gz failed
Path too long.
Set a lower value (like 32) in Config->Special, item folder_max_length.
This will trim the individual path elements to 32, which should keep the
total path size below 254.
A value like 50 is probably safe too.
In the next major release there will be a better solution.

Re: ERROR: Saving .nzb.gz failed
Is there a better fix to this already?
Re: ERROR: Saving .nzb.gz failed
No, it's a shortcoming of Windows.
Release 0.8.0 will have some work-arounds, but it will never be perfect on Windows.
