Post by magic144 »

as per this previous report, http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14404

e.g. Portlandia.S03E01.720p.BluRay.X264-REWARD.nzb

same issue (detected encryption from subs rar containing rar)... from Log:-

2013-07-10 05:19:43,884::WARNING::[assembler:116] WARNING: Paused job "Portlandia.S03E01.720p.BluRay.X264-REWARD" because of encrypted RAR file

I downloaded that post, and I have no problems with my SAB 0.7.14 on Ubuntu. See below.
So maybe your par2 or unrar is different than mine?

Code: Select all

Download Downloaded in 1 minute 40 seconds at an average of 8.1 MB/s
Source bla.S03E01.720p.BluRay.X264-REWARD.nzb
Unpack [bla.s03e01.720p.bluray.x264-reward.subs] Unpacked 2 files/folders in 4 seconds
          [bla.s03e01.720p.bluray.x264-reward] Unpacked 1 files/folders in 53 seconds
          [bla.S03E01.720p.BluRay.X264-REWARD] Unpacked 1 files/folders in 0 seconds

There might be different articles missing on different servers.
Please email the NZB file to [email protected]

FWIW: I ran SAB 0.7.14 for Windows on Wine on Ubuntu, with only eweka as newsserver, and all was successful.

Confirmed for this NZB. The naming is slightly different from what is expected.

@shypike - you've confirmed the bug do you mean??
Do you still want me to email you the nzb, or are you working on a fix??

Thanks for looking at this :)

I've been having this issue too, I'm running 0.7.13. Glad there is a fix on the way.

I'd like to add my name to this list as well - strangely enough it appears to be mainly affecting recent BluRay rips (at least for me anyway). If I force SABNZBd to resume from pause once or maybe twice, it does eventually finish downloading and post-processing is all fine. FYI, I'm running 0.7.14 on Windows.

I too am glad that a fix is on its way. Thanks shypike.

I have been running into this often and thought it was just bad files until I found this thread.

Updated to 0.7.16 and still running into the issue. I've emailed [email protected] with the nzb file from pttrtim at gmail dot org.

Another variant of an ill-advised packing method, resembling the dirty tricks of stealth-encryption posters.
Will be fixed in the next release.
