Slow startup

Hey, I really hope someone can help me.

Ive been using Sabnzbd for years with no problems and just a few hours ago. I started the program, waited a minute and it didn't pop up in the system tray as normal so i thought maybe i misclicked, checked the task manager, its running. Checked my sabnzbd homepage on localhost, nothing... So the program is running but not actually running...

I waited 15mins and the localhost page auto refreshed and there it was, it had started working a full 15mins after i started it. I retested this many times, wiping my config, reinstalling. Wiping config, reinstalling an old version or sabnzbd. No change nothing, it just annoyingly waits exactly 15mins every time i want to use the program.

Ive never seen this problem, im running a 1st gen i7 and an ssd so my hardware wont be the issue

What gives? Can anyone help me?

Windows, right?

If so: stop sabnzbd, open a CMD box, find and start "sabnzbd-console.exe". Watch what takes time.

Bare in mind, that only works after the 5+min delay, I cant fathom why it is doing this. Very frustrating.

I see no delay in your log file; the webserver is up 14 seconds after you start SABnzbd:

Thats the thing, I started it minutes before the log is saying i did, it hangs. As soon as i click on the shortcut i can see the process in the task manager but it isn't running in the system tray, in console mode nothing is happening and i cannot access it through my browser until it just decides it wants to start for real haha. The only thing i've installed recently is Bullguard Antivirus. Does that have any known conflicts with Sabnzbd?

Welp, i just answered my own question. Uninstalled Bullguard, rebooted and now sabnzbd is working as it should be, how very odd. Protip, don't use Bullguard folks!
