Reported download speed/throughput waaaay off

Post by Olegario »

MacOS 10.6.8
SABnzbd+ 0.7.20

It says I'm downloading in the vicinity of 100 bytes per second, when obviously it's doing orders of magnitude better than that.

I've restarted the program and the computer.

That usually means that posts are not on the server.
Did restarting help?

Restarting did not help. It showed stuff happening in the Status display and a significant percentage downloaded. Ultimately, the download failed (files missing from server) and there was very little in the Incomplete Folder.

Like I said. Post missing means slow speed and rapid "progression".
This is correct. The server telling SABnzbd that it doesn't have an article
means less bytes transmitted than when the actual article is sent.
Even so each missing article does have some overhead, so the effective speed is low.
