Sab 1.0.2 speed limit broken

Post by Realchucky »

Hi,
i updated to the last version and i noticed that the speed limit didnt work. I put any percent number in but it will download with full speed.
I normaly dont download with full speed because my connection isnt so fast and i watch streams beside downloding.

I wish there is an option to get the normal speed limit number back and not a percent i have to use.

So i have said 12M max. download speed and put in 90% or less and it download all time with 12M.

Could anyone help me with that please?

Where did you set the speedlimit?
There are two places: Config->General and the slider in the Glitter UI.

I set it at Config -> Genral and than at the Glitter UI the slider stand by 80% that i put in the config before. But if i change the slider or at the config the percantage nothing changed.
Only the max. speed if i change this value the download speed change.

If i only set the config value nothing it will download with that speed i put in at max. speed value.

If i dont put any percantage in at the config, the slider stand by 100% and if i lower it now nothing change.

The Speed Limit dont work for me... i didnt put in any max. speed and restart Sab and speed limit stand at 100% than i lowered to 80% but the speed didnt change...

+1 for the speed limit not working.

Even tried on a "clean browser" and the slider does not work.

Can you give some more info? Did you set a maximum bandwidth limit in the Config? What did you set as bandwidth limit?
So you slide the slider and then, it slides back? You see the chain icon appear in the speed display? This indicates an active speedlimit.
What browser?

Just letting you know...You're not the only noob. Been scratching my head about this for ages and couldn't figure out what was going on. I had also not added the unit in...

So, thanks :P
