You mean SABnzbd on Android?
Should be possible already, as long as Android has Python.

But maybe this is what you are looking for: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8470

I meant being able to actually use the device independently, not controlling a server or PC. I rarely use my pc anymore and less and less people are too so it would be nice not to need a pc since phone are already coming out with 1.5+ghz dual core processors which is enough to process a rar file without using a pc.

The SABnzbd team isn't going to create an Android client.
But there's nothing preventing someone else from doing it.
I know there's someone running it on an iPhone.

I would love a android version, it would be great when I'm at school with a 30-40mb/s connection or at work with a 20mb/s compared to my home 6mb/s. I won't do use it for anything beyond download tho.

try newzdroid from the market. It works with a lot of TLC and attention, and is usually more of a pain in the arse to be useful...but it does download binaries :) If I had the time and knowledge this is definitely something I would work on...
