Postby yuriy128 » March 5th, 2012, 8:00 pm

Hi All,

I just released a free iPhone and iPad app called "SAB Connect" to interact with your SABNzbd server instance.
Please check it out and give me some feedback: http://bit.ly/ABvL2r

Some Features:
- Add/remove unlimited number of servers
- Access to server Queue and History
- Ability to Pause/Resume individual queue items
- Delete an item from queue
- Change item position inside of queue
- Change item category, scripts, and post-processing options
- Pause/Resume server
- View and delete items from History
- Search NZBIndex.nl, more search engines upon request
- Open-in functionality allows you to use any web-site in safari and upload NZB files straight to your remote server
- Includes free one nzb upload per day, unlimited uploads can be purchased for just $1.

Thank You!

Any other thing you would like to add for next release?
Also please review the application if you have a moment.

Do you mean support for when SABnzbd uses a username and password?
That's not really needed, using just the API key is sufficient
(unless people use a really ancient version.)

I guess you should have a proper support website first, and place a guide there on how to setup the app and so on. Asking people to contact you via twitter does not exactly translate to good support.

Thanks for your feedback, I will make a blog describing how to set-up soon.

New version is awaiting application review: (Should be available in a week)
- Added support for HTTPS
- Minor bug fixes

Thanks,
Yuriy

Thanks for this app.
I have also created a free app, Easy Group, an app to group iPhone contacts and to send group messages (texts, SMS, emails).
If I should give one advise : ask your users to provide a review in your application (after 2 or 3 launches for example). If they like your app they will take the time to do it, so you will have more reviews, and so more users, and so reviews ... :)
You've made half of the path, have fun,
