I assume you mean sabnzbd.org?
We prefer to keep the list short and mention the major players.
One problem we do have is that people expect support from the SABnzbd team
for all sorts of third-party add-ons, even more for the ones we list.
I'll check with the resident Linux gurus.

If I understand correctly, a third-party addon would just make the interface between an nzb search site and sabnzbd better, right?

There's no single definition.
Some do what you just stated, others do much more. Especially apps for mobile devices.
The browser add-ons usually handle NZB files in some way to get them into SABnzbd.
nzbdStatus for Firefox is the most used one.

Gocha. How about for Android devices, which is the most used one? Maybe NZB 360?

I'd say "SABMobile" is the best one :)

SABDroidEx is nice for Android. And it's free.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... sabdroidex

Works with my SAB 0.5.6 but haven't got it working with new SAB 0.7.7 install, don't know why yet.

Guys I made a shell program for myself. Thought of sharing it here, just in case you guys deal with the same scenario too:

Scenario
=======
I used to download shows via USENET to my tonido plug. After I while I was required to transfer to a different location where internet connections were a hell. To avoid missing any shows I installed SAB+ to a VPS I purchased and started downloading my shows there (so I don't need to worry about retention period).

Purpose of DLAPP
===============
The main purpose of making DLAPP is download these episodes to my local when I get a connection. Just in case have such a (rare) scenario, please feel free to use my code

You can download DLAPP from http://code.glibix.com/episode-downloader

All,

I thought I'd add another link to the list of third party add-ons - I wrote this for a newznab based board that I am a member of.

SabSpotComment

This is a small java server which automatically connects to your sabnzbd server and looks at the download status for any nzbs. It will then post a comment to Newznab based hosts as to the success or failure of it. This helps the usenet community as to whether the nzb is still available or not.

This was a pretty quick write, so any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi,

I've been using SabSpotComment for the last couple of days and its been going great so far, thank you for putting together a cool app.

Only one hiccup, it reported a failed *** as completed successfully when it was missing some stuff. Happened twice, restarted server, set to Demo mode to check the comments, went back to live mode, since then it has been reporting items correctly.

Is there anyway of changing [SSC-T/SCC-F] to something else? Or would you prefer to keep that there.

Thanks again and keep up the good work!
