SABcontrol for Android

I just set it to 0.0.0.0  (previously it was blank) and still not working.  This is starting to drive me crazy.
I'm going to better outline my scenario so hopefully someone has an idea what to do.

SABNZBD
Config>General
Host: 0.0.0.0
Port: 8080
username: blank
password: blank
API: numbers and letters

SABCONTROL
Server Host: XX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Server Port: 8080
API Key: Letters and numbers
username: blank
password: blank
OLD API: enabled

I have time warner cable internet.  I am connected through my router
internal ip is static and set at 192.168.0.XX
External IP is XX.XXX.XXX.XXX according to whatsmyip.com (set in sabcontrol)

sorry for the late reply, I wanted to reply last week and I totally forgot.

Does your router correctly route the port 8080 to your server? Did you try to open the SABnzbd server URL using the browser (from outside your network of course)?

The short answer is no it does not.  I am beginning to think the issue is with my crappy ISP-provided router.  I am also trying to set up FTP between my phone and  PC and am running into similar issues.  With the FTP, when I tell my phone connects, it briefly shows up on my computer and logs in but then "can't connect for data."

IF no one has any other suggestions, I might just go out and buy a router as no one else seems to have these issues and it seems to be the common denominator.

Anyone have suggestions for a good (but cheap) router?

Hi, just downloaded the SABcontrol, real nice stuff!!!
i have one problem though, i cant seem to add nzbs at all.
when i try to add from url i get these warrning/error:

WARNING: Invalid NZB file index.php!action=getnzb&nzbid=326788.nzb, skipping (reason=NzbParser instance has no attribute 'groups', line=0)
ERROR: Error getting url http://www.nzbs.org/index.php?action=ge ... bid=326788 (cause= "")

when trying to download the nzb file i get an error msg on my adnroid saying "the content is not supported by your phone" and the download fails.

i guess im just trying to get the url to work.

Got the server connected etc, however, when i am downloading items at home, droid still says waiting for data, should i see something?

From what ive seen this is shaping up to be a sweet app... Is there any documentation on it yet? im having problems accessing my server.

Eg the way i access it from an external soruce is www.mydomain.com:8000/sabdnzbd. what would be the configuration to use this?

My current set up:
Server Host: www.mydomain.com
Server Port: 8000
API Key:

so im presuming its because i have this in a subfolder on my webserver called sabdnzbd. My webserver us ubuntu + lamp. Any help getting it working would be appreciated.
