We can never become true Couch Potates if we have to manually cleanup the download folders every once in a while! Don't you agree? ;)

Thanks for the quick response!

[edit]It sometimes leaves sample .mkv files and .sfv files. Those are the ones I noticed so far[edit]

You can also set sabnzbd+ to delete files like lpg & stuff like that after downloading
That way CP can not leave the files in the folders  ;-)

The cleanup files checkbox is already there. See the renaming tab in settings.

New Windows build, with some fixes for NZBMatrix and TPB. Also more accurate movie searching.
Of course the latest git version has the same fixes ;)

@nomar383 (and other too :D)
Latest gitversion has an update function build in now. Go to /config/update/ and wait :)
No GUI for it yet, want to test it out a bit first, so please try it.

Still have to find a way to update the Windows .exe. As it it in use and thus can't be overwriten. If someone has an idea, please let me know.

I don't really know if it did anything, but it appears to have restarted CouchPotato haha. Can you show the terminal output on the screen while it's updating at least? Or have the update version in the logs, with a little message that it was successful?

Something like:

New version available, with updating functions.
It will say you will need an update, the first time you start it. This is because I don't know the version if you never used the update function. So this time, you'll have to do a double update. (Hope that makes sense...)
Windows users will get a notification, but still have to shutdown and overwrite the .exe manually

I just today updated to the newest version (first time I updated to  one of the new "CouchPotato"-builds. So far looks great, However I am having a little trouble with renaming and moving of my downloaded movies.

It created the new directory with the correct name, but never moves or renames the movie. Here is the log:

Code: Select all

There seems to be some trouble with Windows shares.
Could you try the same thing with a mounted share?

Any chance of an email alert when a movie has been found? I know SAB has email alerts, but you can't customize just for individual categories i.e. movies

Haha, yeah, i may do that temporarily, but i am mainly using CouchPotato to download movies that are coming out in 1 - 12 months time.

Movies that are out now that i want, i manually download, so having an alert when couch potato would be cool as i may have set the movie to download up to 12 months ago, by which time i would have forgotten about it

I tried to mount as a windows share, but nothing seems to happen. Now I don't get any log-mention of the "cron.renamer".
Is there any way to trigger the rename function manually?
