SABMobile has been updated to v1.8.1 on the Android Market, to fix several issues, including a lot of problems in the webview with Android 2.1.

Check it out and let me know what you think of it !

Hi all,

As promised, SABMobile has been updated to v1.8.1 on the AppStore too:

- Added Russian Language
- Added MysterBin as default searcher (for old users: check out my website)
- Fixed an issue with default website being "https://" instead of "http://"
- Modified section title color to be easier to spot
- Added feed name when an error occurs
- Fixed an issue where size may appear negative if bigger than 2GB
- Changed the files list to be multiline

The iPhone app looks cool, with all the options, however, I find it a bit disturbing that I can see what I've downloaded and even add downloads without providing the username/password I've set up for my sabnzbd.

Well, you use the API key, which is secure too. If you disable the API Key, you will have to enter the username/password instead in SABMobile

As a "Thank you" for your support, I've reduced the price of SABMobile for a limited time on the iOS AppStore and the Android Market !

Sorry, the Symbian version hasn't been updated, it's still v1.7.

There are a lot less users of the Symbian version, so I'm updating less often... I'll update it soon though.

About Windows 7, I don't know, not in a near future !

Yeah, I'm not a big Symbian user myself, but it is the only touch phone I have access to. Version 1.8 vs 1.7 may not be a big deal but I'm, like most people, unlikely to buy something that isn't regularly updated and may or may not be dropped at any time. Your SynoLoad app seems to be even worse off btw.

About WP7, I'm just curious about the intentions of developers. Still thinking about whether to take the plunge to WP7 or not. I'm a cheapskate and WP7 phones are pretty cheap on Ebay(Germany) compared to a quality Android device.

Well, SynoLoad has started on Symbian with v1.3, then v1.4, then v1.5 which stayed quite long, then v1.7.

SABMobile started with v1.7.

I regularly post updates, less often than iOS or Android, but I still maintain the app if issues are encountered, and add new features too.

SABMobile was updated to v1.8.2 on the Android Market, with NewzBin included as a default searcher. For existing users, you can download the searcher from my website (works with 1.8.2 only !).

The iOS version will be available in the coming days.

Hi all,

I'll start a beta phase for v1.9 in the coming days... anybody interested ? If so, send me a comment from the currently installed application (I'll only accept "old" users this time, because I want to find out any regressions, so I need people who really use the app).

Beta phase will be for iOS (iPhone/iPod/iPad) and Android !
