Speed shows az 0 KB/s (even though it's not)

Postby Gimlei » October 23rd, 2011, 4:08 pm

Version: 0.6.10
OS: Windows 7
Install-type: Windows Installer

Just upgraded from 0.6.9 to 0.6.10, and suddenly the speed indicator is showing zero, even though sabnzbd is actually downloading - if I hit refresh, I can see megabytes adding up over time. Tried reinstalling 0.6.10, to no avail. Problem wasn't present in 0.6.9. Here is a screenshot:

After a few seconds and an F5 button hit:

Using Firefox 7.0.1, but just tried it in IE 9 and same issue - speed shows up as zero.

Is it an old post, out of your provider's retention? Because if that's the case, SAB will show the behaviour you see. And the MBs 'passing' are fake; it's only an indication SAB is working its way through the NZB (and not actual MBs downloaded)

I think you are right - SAB just spat out the "Download failed" message...
Thanks!

Just wondering, is there any way to detect this earlier and show a warning to the user?

Wasn't SABnzbd warning you in the upper left corner with "Warning: <blabla>"?

If not, you will certainly see "missing from all servers" in the sabnzbd.log.

Should have thought of that :(
If you hover the mouse cursor over the job title you should see a message about the amount of missing articles so far.
If it keeps running up, then it's an out-of-retention thing.
