Sabnzbd, Fios connection, disables networking

sorry wasn't done from pervious post.
so far

* got 2 GB of data, i was never able to before.
* But speed is erratic, i would drop to as low as 1 KB/sec but than jump to 3 MB/sec, I was at Max of 3.5 MB/sec and in the past once it starts to drop, i would get to zero and my network will be become disabled. But i'm bouncing up/down now.
* So far I am able to maintain my network.
* But my connection speed to usenet is not consistent.
* I am still getting data like 20 mins into this which was never the case.
* Is in my newsgroup provider now?
* Or someone else?
* Configuration error?

At the moment your newsgroup download is slow, go to http://speedtest.net/ and measure your (remaining) speed. If that's fast, the problem is your newsgroup provider or Verizon throttling it.

ok i did another test just for shiggles. i loaded another client and to my surprise, i'm getting constant speed connecting to same server/port as before ... 3.5 MB/sec constant. Not sure what to think of it but if it sticks, i'll just chaulk it to incompatability of sw with my exact set up for whatever reason. Thanks again for your input.

Interesting. With the same server and the same number of connections? If so, I have no idea what is going on.

yes same server/port/connection count. it's bizzare. just for testing, i went back to laptop, uninstalled and installed older verion 0.6.9, i did update to 0.6.15 at some point but can't remember if the problem started before or after the update. anyways, i was able to maintain speed, obtain 3 GB of data. so thought it was maybe 0.6.15 and my set up. Than tried getting more data and it slowed down and disconnected again. i'm not really liking grabit so far and hope it isn't the case whereby for some reason sabnzbd is just not working on my machines and/or with my provider...
