0.6.15 on os x 10.6 : System hangs if speed limit used

Hi,
Using sabnzbd on os x 10.6.8
If I define speed-limit (globally in the settings or on the download page), after few seconds the system completely hangs.
The only possibility is to hard-reset the machine.
Any clue ?
Without speed-limit, everything is fine...
