Hi there, i've been using sabnzbd/couchpotato/sickbeard for about a week or so now and i like it.
what i am looking to do hopefully is have an email notification from sab that it has received an nzb file from couch or sickbeard.
I already get notifications when files have finished downloading but i was looking to get a unified email when an nzb has been received.
is this possible and how would i go about it ?
i know couch can email me when it has snatched a file, but occasionally they don't make it to sab.

Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

Enable +Debug logging in the Status and Interface settings window and share the relevant parts of the log here using [ code ] sections.

There's no option to email arrival of items in SABnzbd's queue.
You can setup notifications for Growl (available for Windows too),
OSX's Notification Center and (from 0.8.0 onwards) Prowl.

If you have the necessary skills, doing this should be possible via a pre-queue script. Just be careful to always accept the job and not send garbage output to the console.
