Hello everyone,

I seem to have a problem with par2 files.

I have downloaded a post in which there are missing rar files. The problem is that sabnzbd only downloads one par2 file and my download remains blocked at the end. I tried to download manually the par2 files that were not downloaded by sabnzbd, moved them to the temp folder where my blocked download was and ran QuickPar. As a result, my download could be repaired and extracted successfully...

Anyway I read that sabnzbd only downloads par2 files when it needs them but in this case they are needed and they're not.

What does "remains blocked blocked at the end" mean?

When I look in sabnzbd, there are like 4 files remaining to download, they are almost completed but it's like they're waiting for some packets to be downloaded but the server does not send anything. The download is not in error, it's like it's waiting for the end of the downloaded files...
Now that you point out this, it may seems like this is why the necessary PAR2 files aren't downloaded, because the download is not finished yet.

What's the address to send you attachments for bug reports ?

My usenet providers are Giganews, Newshosting and Ngroups.net (I'm testing several at the moment )

After some investigation, it seems that the problem came from my provider... There must have been some problem in the file completion...

I believe this issue has begun with the current version and is unique to Macs.
