Any chance you can make a stand alone thread for nzbdstatus in this forum duz?
Just to describe updates and allow people to chat about it.

A while back I made an utility for the original SABnzbd to handle the automatic download of NZB files, it also works with SABnzbd+ (or any other NZB downloader which uses a dirscan folder) so I thought it would be useful to post it here as well.
Basically it is an utility witch associates itself with .nzb files and copies them to the dirscan folder, so you can double click a NZB file to start dowloading it (or open a NZB file from within a webpage without first saving it).

The executable should work with any dirscan folder , including network shares (as long as you have write access to the share)

The install for this executable can be downloaded here ( http://home.zonnet.nl/eXcyle/SABnzbOpen_Install.exe ) the AutoIt script source code is included.

With regards
eXcyle

Open up about:config and change extensions.checkUpdateSecurity to false (extensions.checkCompatibility to false too will help)

The reason is firefox wants addons to be distributed via https connections.

Are they any windows gui sabnzbd controllers that support http proxy? I want to monitor a remote sabnzbd+ server but none of the current apps seem to have proxy support?
