run script before rss auto-download

Is there a way ro run a script before sabnzbd start downloading from an rss fead? I want to check if the file alredy exists on my harddrive. And if it is i want the script to tell sabnzbd not to download. Is that possible?

Cool! When do you plane to implement it? I for sure think that's a useful feature in more than min situation.

This is a FOSS volunteers project.
We are reluctant to give any commitment to features.
So the answer is: when one of the developers thinks it worth the effort.
(Or we get a ready-made patch).
