Could the proposed per-RAR PAR checking be a feature that could be disabled in favor of after download completes PAR checking?  Rather than a replacement for the status quo.

I favor lower CPU lower RAM consumption PAR checking either way

nzbdStatus , a firefox extension , might be able to keep the referer from the download and feed that to the daemon which itself would need to be modified to receive it. this, however, is mere speculation on my part. ;D edit:  I've responded to what I though has been a thread about "site" ...

I already receive phone notifications, but then VerizonWireless, evil though they are, allows one to choose an email address through which one may receive txt messages.  This is not a "smart"phone.
