Where have all the browser extensions gone?
I've been using SABCtrl for some time but suddenly it stopped working and is shown as 'unavailable' in the Opera store. Checking further I discovered that there are no longer any SAB extensions available for any of the main browsers. Not the end of the world but I'd be interested to know why they've...

Re: [private] nzb
I tried a couple of video files. They downloaded and extracted but neither would play. This guy has been around for while posting in a.b.inner-sanctum though the [private] label is a recent innovation. He has a reputation for reposting (often) incomplete or corrupt versions of other posters' rips. S...

Re: Attn: Virgin Media Broadband Users - Use port 443 + SSL
This thread is out of date. VM no longer allow SSL connections on any of the usual ports but 119 works well without SSL. VM no longer seem to cap either speed or data but they are progressively removing binary newsgroups from their service. At present, they are not providing sufficient coverage to b...

Re: Version 1 not as good at 0.7
Big thumbs up here. I like Glitter, have been hoping for prioritization of servers for ages and have had no problems installing and running on W7, W8.1 and Linux Mint. Good job.

Re: NZBClub
Which Chrome extension are you using? I've found SABconnect++ to be very flaky but SABdrop certainly works. Use it by right-clicking on the 'Get NZB' icon.

Re: NZBIndex RSS. Second, third, etc. pages
Actually, I'm sure there are more than 2250 more. The 10 page limit is also an arbitrary cut-off point. If you limit the age to 2 or 3 days the number of results is drastically reduced.

Re: NZBIndex RSS. Second, third, etc. pages
If you set max >250 it reverts to 250. My queries never return that many results: can't you define a more restrictive query that returns fewer results?

Re: How to filter INTERNAL releases
After some PMs with shypike on this topic, I thought I'd pass along the resolution... A while ago I read a thread here about restoring the Plush skin appearance to the Config pages post version 0.7.0. This involved clearing the uniconfig check box under Config-Special. BEWARE! A side-effect of doing...

Re: How to filter INTERNAL releases
The White Collar pair appear in NZBS.org and NZB.su like this:
White.Collar.S04E03.INTERNAL.720p.HDTV.x264-EVOLVE
White.Collar.S04E03.720p.HDTV.x264-IMMERSE
Yes, the reject filter is the first in the list. I'm using the full TV-HD rss feed from the above sites and doing all filtering in SABNZBD.

How to filter INTERNAL releases
There have been a number of duplicate Scene posts recently in which one is flagged 'INTERNAL'. My understanding is that these files are not supposed to be released publicly, but since they obviously are, I've been trying to filter them out in SABNZBD. A 'Reject *internal*' filter seems ineffective -...

I'll try that a little later, when I get into an uncapped timeslot. Thanks again for your help - on a Sunday, too!

Re: NZB v RSS titles
I don't think the issue is with downloading. The log indicates that the files are being downloaded, but for some reason they are then being 'disappeared'. I'll email the rss output, but I'm already aware that the missing items are there.

Re: NZB v RSS titles
I don't use Season Sort. The rss feed comes from the 'My Shows' function, so includes only the files I want. The only filters I have set in SABNZBD are a requirement for 720p and exclusions for dd5 and web-dl. Interestingly, there is another post on the NZB.SU forum by an ex-NZBS.ORG user who seems ...

Re: NZB v RSS titles
I've been taking a look at the logs. To my uneducated eye, it looks like SABNZBD did find the file, downloaded it, unpacked it - and then deleted it. The log is too long to append here, but I can email it if helpful.
