I finally got through to an engineer at Supernews today.  They've finally acknowledged the problem is server side and that they have made changes / fixed it. 

Is anyone else having any problems connecting now?

Supernews is trying to foist this problem off on SABNZBd still.  I have been going back and forth with them over the issue, but they refuse to acknowledge the problem to me. Ok, so I've found a show that seems to be listed in sometimes the XxXX format, and sometimes in the SXXEXX format.  While I prefer and use the SXXEXX format, the show isn't always indexed in the SXXEXX format and is only indexed in the XxXX format.  SB doesn't find it show when it's indexed in XxXX ...

All of my downloads in Sab come back with this: Trying to fetch NZB from http://www.nzbsrus.com/nzbdownload_rss.php/316639/192470/ Of course the ID's are different and there's a hash at the end... this happens for nzbsrus and nzbmatrix, as well as bin-req.  I'm not sure exactly what's going on here...

Ah, yeah that's what I thought on both fronts, rats!  Might be worth it to develop a scraping framework to handle sites that don't have API's or when the API's are broken.  Wouldn't be terribly difficult, but if the format changes on the pages, it would obviously break it... probably not a huge issu...

Ok, got it ... although it seems like a fairly useless search unless it's a brand new show in regards to NZBsRUs - but I guess that's a known issue and really a result of the limited RSS feed available from NZBsRUS? What's the problem with NZBMatrix currently, is it NZM's side, API wise or Sick Bear...
