I did get a new url. However, this doesn't resolve the issue with fetching the nzb's by message id, does it? That's the problem I'm concerned with. The subject message is occurring when I try to add a newzbin message id. Until recently, there was no problem with the feature.

What exactly is the "invalid parameter"? Looks like SABnzbd thinks it's an invalid address or one that does not resolve to an IP address. Just to eliminate other causes. Can you try to use the numeric IP address of the server? Check what value the "nslookup news.usenetserver.com"...

I had the same problem and figured it out by enabling cherry logging in the configuration file. I attempted to log on and received the error.
