Re: Quota System

Right - that's done in the router (dd-wrt and similar flavors).

All SAB would need to do is allow the user to assign a given server to a given queue and allow for multiple queues that function just like the single one does now.

Re: Quota System

Overage costs run about a dollar a gig where I am (which is absurd). A plan for 250-500 will run 40-70$ a month depending on a variety of factors. So no, paying for the extra gigs is certainly not worth it. There are no providers that offer plans in excess of 500 GB in my area (a major metro area in...

Quota System

This probably belongs in the beta test forum but I think it's still locked? The new quota system is great - it will help a lot - but I have a suggestion. With many US telecom companies capping bandwidth at 250-500GB / month lots of us are using dd-wrt and other routers with multiple ISPs. A slightly...

Re: Roadmap?

Is there a good place to check for updates on the status of 0.7.0? The Launchpad site doesn't seem to make it clear that there's any work going on at all? I was hoping to find an approximate time frame for quota support. I ask because my need for quotas has become pressing. Before I was switching IS...

Re: Header information API

Sorry, just so I'm clear: An "article" is the same as a "segment" in the nzb? And SAB will pull down the entire segment/article if it is given and will not (or cannot?) pull down only a certain number of bytes of that segment/article? The idea is that we don't want to pull down a...

Re: Header information API

Does the "bytes" attribute of a "segment" node in an nzb file not have any effect on how much of the segment SAB downloads? If a segment starts out as bytes="327680" and I create a new mini nzb to grab the headers and change that attribute to "1024" it looks l...

Re: Header information API

Right... it's just that a lot of people use the existing priorities for things already.

Anyway thanks for the help I will give it a shot.

Re: Header information API

Sorry another thing while I'm thinking about it: what would be the best way to keep these out of the history? At the very least these will be duplicates of an eventual download and there might be 10 checks for every actual download - that could lead to a lot of unwanted history spam. Is there a way ...

Re: Header information API

Ok... yes, that will work. Can you talk to me about how "Force" works as a priority? The docs say it will go "straight to the top" and that it will not respect the queue pause. If multiple items are forced does the 2nd force move ahead of the one that is already being forced? If ...

Re: Header information API

The idea is that when asked SAB will download the first few bytes from the rar file and get the header information out of the file. It would then make this data available to external programs via the API. So: nzb is passed to SAB with the headers flag set. SAB downloads part of the nzb (or the whole...

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog

Feature request : When searching it would be nice if it can NOT download albums that are put into 1 file This will require support from SAB - see my feature request here: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8548 There's no way to tell when the result is a single file without being abl...

Header information API

For a variety of reasons it is useful to look inside certain nzb files before sending them to SAB to make sure the contents are as expected. This is impossible when the contents are in .rar or .zip files. The solution would be to download just the headers for those files to get a list of the content...

Looks like he didn't implement log rotation yet.

Are the files that are not showing up by any chance .m4a files?

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog

Keep in mind this isn't my project so anything I say is just what I glean from doing a few small things. Let me be more clear. The post processor first checks to see if it can recognize a folder and parse it into what it knows is an Artist/Album using the formats above. If it cannot parse the folder...

Re: Headphones : Music albums and artists auto download prog

Sorry, I didn't see the Sandy Dane - that should have been picked up. Odd, I thought I fixed that yesterday... *edit: Well that's easily fixed but I'm not sure we want to fix it. It's marked as unprocessed as a result of a previous attempt to process it that failed. Do we expect that the musicbrainz...
