Re: 0.7.9 ipv6 fails

I hope that gives an exception error. No it doesn't... Placed the code after each print info statement, just does the same thing: First only IPv6 lookups for www.google.com and ipv6.google.com [(23, 1, 0, 'www.google.com', ('2404:6800:4006:803::1011', 80, 0, 0))] [(23, 1, 0, 'ipv6.l.google.com', ('...

Re: 0.7.9 ipv6 fails

Here you go... First only IPv6 lookups for www.google.com and ipv6.google.com [(23, 1, 0, 'www.google.com', ('2404:6800:4006:800::1014', 80, 0, 0))] [(23, 1, 0, 'ipv6.l.google.com', ('2404:6800:4006:804::1012', 80, 0, 0))] Now normal lookups (IPv4 and IPv6) for www.google.com and ipv6.google.com [(2...

Can you join this thread: http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12865 and continue there ... same error messages The fix on that thread of changing the value of "ipv6_servers" to 2 in Config > Special worked! Didn't occur to me to think it was a change between versions of Sabn...

Re: 0.7.9 ipv6 fails

Did you need to set "ipv6_servers" in Config->Special to the value 2? I've had the same problem with Sabnzbd 0.7.9 under Windows 7 x64 as above. Didn't twig that it was an upgrade of Sab that had stopped the ipv6 servers. Anyway, I've stayed on 0.7.9 and changed "ipv6_servers" t...

Yet a test of the server in SABnzbd comes back with: Server quit during login sequence.

Yeah, it is a strange problem. Unless it lies with the SixXS tunnel?

Re: Free Newsservers

Overburner's error message is "No IPv6 address detected". Is that what you get on http://www.test-ipv6.com ? No just the final error... - Your IPv4 address on the public Internet appears to be (blah...) - Your IPv6 address on the public Internet appears to be (blah...) - Your IPv6 service...

Re: Free Newsservers

I have the exact situation as Overburner. My default internet connection with my ISP doesn't have IPv6, but the extra connection through the SixXS tunnel does, so I get the same error he describes in the previous post. Even though Test-IPv6.com says that I have a working IPv6 connection (apart from ...

Re: Free Newsservers

I can't tell you anything about Grabit. I certainly don't know whether it supports IPv6, like SABnzbd does. Think of it like a cut down version of SABnzbd. It can do IPv6 as long as you can in Windows but it will only connect to one server at a time, unlike SAB which can connect to multiple servers...

Sometimes they go up and down. (Hey they are free, you can't expect the service of a paid server.)
Keep checking the Newsserver Status page to see if it is also offline for others.

Re: Free Newsservers

Ah okay, thanks Sander. Also, I thought this script was to check free news servers? Or has that changed? Because as far as I can tell news.casema.nl , news.kpn.nl , news.lightningusenet.com , and nova.planet.nl you cannot access for free in any way. Or am I missing something? Edit: Just noticed anot...
