I just tried this (before I saw your reply)

changed:
host = localhost

to:
host = 10.0.0.6

EUREKA!! it now works.

no, I'm trying to access it on my synology 207+

my local (this) is 10.0.0.2
and the synology is 10.0.0.6, so I'm trying to access it at http://10.0.0.6:8080/sabnzbd

and this worked perfectly until I upgraded to the new version
