Re: RRS with 0.4.11
Please explain what your setup is exactly. Where do you specify the categories? Per feed? Per filter? Did it work with older versions? Yeah, it worked with older versions. I specified the categories in the categories section. Then i go in the rss section, apply the filter and tell the application w...

RRS with 0.4.11
Hey guys,
I've a little problem. My SABnzbd runs under Mac OS 10.5.7, with Safari 4. I use the MyTVnzb RSS script, and everything works fine. But in 4.11 the RSS reader doesn't use the categories i've setted up. Any ideas?
Regards,
wyd1

You took the words right out of my mouth... *sing*sdub78 wrote: If SABNZBD is not already winning awards it should be. This thing is absolutely amazing and just so well thought out. So much so I could be bothered getting on the forums to say thanks!

Re: how to verify that 256 ssl is really enabled? ?
Usenet providers offer unencrypted connections or SSL connections. So, there's nothing else we can offer. What's your issue? If you want something else, please talk to your Usenet provider first. I know shypike, that wasn't an attack or something like that. I'm just saying that SSL isn't much of an...

There are many better ways to encrypt something, 'cause SSL isn't very safe.shypike wrote:Please explain.wyd1 wrote: But SSL isn't much of an encryption![]()

Re: SabNZBd on Opensolaris?
In that case, I give up. I have it working properly on DesktopBSD 1.6 (on VMWare), which is based on freeBSD. Thanks for all your help, i appreciate that! In that case i have to switch to OpenSolaris, but that isn't that easy, because OpenSolaris don't support my networkcard (and i have no idea how...

Re: SabNZBd on Opensolaris?
NAS# python /usr/local/bin/SABnzbd.py -b0 -s 192.168.1.88:8080 & Only now I see what you did wrong! You should do it like this: python /usr/local/bin/SABnzbd.py -b0 -s 192.168.1.88:8080 -f FULL-INI-PATH -d The -d option is essential, it invokes the daemon mode. Starting it "regular" a...

Re: SabNZBd on Opensolaris?
Somehow I think you are not starting it with -s 192.168.1.88:8080, because the log says it listens on http://0.0.0.0:8080/, which isn't the same. 0.0.0.0 isn't always handled properly, because some Unix systems don't give a reliable IP address back to SABnzbd. But i do start with 192.168.1.88:8080....

Re: WebGUI not reachable
You should not start it with the '&' appended. This is the correct way to start it. python /usr/local/bin/SABnzbd.py -b0 -s 192.168.1.88:8085 -d -f PATH-OF-INI-FILE It really requires the -d parameter to run properly. Ok, like you said : NAS# python /usr/local/bin/SABnzbd.py -b0 -s 192.168.1.88...

Re: WebGUI not reachable
Yeah I tried lots of things. I am using numerical op. I gave up on it. Too bad. BTW: it does run on DesktopBSD 1.6 (which is based on freeBSD). That's strange. I've edited my SABnzbd.ini (Host 192.168.1.88, Port 8085), run SABnzbd with python /usr/local/bin/SABnzbd.py -b0 -s 192.168.1.88:8085 &...
