Seems to me it has to do with the way firefox refresh and the way that SAB is asking for it. Possibly sends the "wrong" command so that the update requests gets queued rather then executed?

If you have SABnzbd running in the background in a firefox tab for some time (like during the night). Firefox will end up using 2-3GB, If refresh rate is set to 1-2 seconds. Possibly other values as well.

OS, Windows 7/8/8.1 64bit
Firefox at least 4 versions back to the current one.

Maybe something that ties into the http://www.data18.com. Or just a simple batch script that could run if the proper category was set in sabnzb. Media ...
