ok thank you for now its late here and I am going to sleep and will try a clena setup tomorrow in a vm just to see if it works my max is 4MBytw/sec ans 45KByte/sec is realy just ridiculously slow. I will let you know if i find anything else

no no that was just to test it with another Ubuntu version and i still used Gbit cable ;)

The PC sabnzbd is running on is an rather old AMD Althlon 64 x2 4400+ with 4gig ram and 4 2TB hard drives.

oh sry im running 10.04 LTS will test on my laptop with 11.04.

EDIT:

Same problem on my Laptop with Ubuntu 11.04 and sabnzbd 0.5.6, still good speeds on windows

EDIT 2:

restarted about every network device i habe and still the problem persits

So after cleaning up old install the problem persists still dl speeds of 45KiB/s while on Windows same file an sanzbd version 1,4MiB/s. http://sourceforge.net/projects/sabnzbdplus/files/sabnzbdplus/sabnzbd-0.6.5/ was my last try. To clarify some things it worked til jesterday and before that for wee...

Hello I now have the same problem as described by djh82uk im also using 0.50 on ubuntu 10.04 and it worked for weeks without a problem sabnzbd (0.65) on my Windows 7 pc works without a problem. I use eweka and have the connections set to 4 on both Windows an Linux + memory usage is good only ~800/~4...
