Mobile interface redirects to localhost
Now, I've seen other people posting issues with redirects to localhost but never in relation to the mobile interface. Currently sab is set to run on port 8081 with the Plush theme. So host:8081 and host:8081/sabnzbd works fine whether I'm on a laptop or a smartphone, even through Dyndns. I can't see...

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu 10.04
So I've successfully upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 and my array seems to be intact, huzzah! Unfortunately I'm not any closer to updating Sab. I no longer receive errors when doing an apt-get install, but it does tell me that I'm already on the newest version, 0.7.12. I've successfully run apt-get update ...

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu 10.04
That sounds like a fine idea. Ubuntu actually isn't installed on the array, for clarification. That array is just mounted under /media as a storage volume. Ubuntu is running off a 30GB SSD on a different bus. Is there any risk to my data trying to mount that array under a fresh (live CD) installation?

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu 10.04
Update Manager is saying I won't be receiving any more updates. I don't know if that makes a difference for running apt-get. I've decided that I'm going to update to 12.10 but I'm terrified of doing so on account of the software RAID5 array I have on this box that took me forever to get working prop...

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu
Ouch. Well that certainly explains the problems I've been having updating it. Looks like I'll be updating Ubuntu afterall.sander wrote:You can download the SAB tar.gz, unpack it in your home directory, and run it from there. However, that way you can't run it as a daemon /service
Thanks guys.

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu
I would go back remove the package sabnzbdplus: sudo apt-get remove sabnzbdplus then manually all references to sabnzbd & sabnzbdplus then install sabnzbdplus: sudo apt-get install sabnzbdplus. then test sabnzbdplus is working Will that keep my settings? How can I back those up if not? Also, ca...

Re: Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu
No, not for me. It would have helped if you had posted the update error, and stopped after that. Fair enough. This is what I get when I try to run the start script now: 2013-06-17 16:37:02,791::INFO::[sabnzbdplus:1244] -------------------------------- 2013-06-17 16:37:02,792::INFO::[sabnzbdplus:124...

Updating to 0.7.13 on Ubuntu 10.04
Hi all, Running into some issues updating Sab on Ubuntu 10.04. The "apt-get update sabnzbdplus" command did not work, so I attempted the recommended method of simply downloading the newest package and copying over the files to /usr/share/sabnzbdplus. After doing that I received many screen...

Re: Slowdown during unpacking/multicore par2
I'm running a four disk array in RAID5 and get pretty decent read/write performance. RAID5 is slower when writing (for obvious reasons). Consider (if possible) to put temporary folders on a non-RAID disk. Hrm, good point. Is there an easy way to set it up so that par2 unpacks the contents to the OS...

Re: Slowdown during unpacking/multicore par2
How can I tell what version of par2 I'm using? I've read that Ubuntu doesn't come with the multicore version. Disk IO really shouldn't be an issue. I'm running a four disk array in RAID5 and get pretty decent read/write performance.

Slowdown during unpacking/multicore par2
I only just recently started using SABNZBD (I'm new to the whole Usenet thing) and it's been working great so far. There's only one minor snag that I've been running into in regards to performance. This is running on a very low-power machine, one of those dual core AMD E350 APUs. The machine acts as...
