Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl

Thanks for your reply inpheaux. Regarding the second feature, I've implemented two modes and I think what you propose is quite similar to my implementation. The implementation (Github link in my post above) provides the following functionalities: Feature 2 mode "extended NZB specs": (out of scope) E...

Resource consumption during post-processing

Hello, It seems that this topic has already been discussed years ago but I can't find a working answer to this problem: Occasionally during post-processing (especially during par2 check), if I am watching another movie (from the same disk) at the same time, the movie starts to freeze ... that's very...

Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl

OK. By the way, there's one thing we didn't discussed concerning your proposal: How do you get access back to nzo['more_info'] from the post-procesing script? Does the post-processing script have to make an API call to SABnzbd to read this variable when the job is done or is there another convenient...

Re: New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downl

Hello, For those interested I've developed the 2nd feature, on Github: https://github.com/kriswebdev/sabnzbd/tree/feature-inlinefile I've had a long talk with inpheaux and he thinks it should be developer as a post-processing script (using DirectNZB headers or sort of), not as data within NZB or dat...

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4

Well, indeed, I've not let that alone. I've developed a modified yEnc for Python that supports Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 :o And it works. And it's there: https://bitbucket.org/kriswebdev/python-yenc-win32-and-still-unix/src To download, just go the DOwnload tab ( https://bitbucket.org/kriswebdev/p...

Forget about my 2nd feature request, I'm actively working on it.

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4

I like hijacking, especially when the problem is 5 years old :) The issue is not relative to SABnzbd but to yEnc, who has not evolved. Well, I don't really care building yenc after all so I won't start a new thread just for that. You can forget about my issue. Btw, I discovered yEnc is not compilabl...

Re: Sabnzbd 0.4

Hi, I need some help too to build yEnc on WIndows... With just Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 installed I get: error: Unable to find vcvarsall.bat If I use mingw32 (see: http://stackoverflow.com/a/5051281 for install steps) I get: C:\MinGW\bin\gcc.exe -mno-cygwin -mdll -O -Wall -IC:\Python27\include -...

New .NZB format spec: inline files + API access to downloads

Hello, I know what I'm asking is much and disruptive, but that's what an true innovative product offers, disruptions. So my two ideas are: 1. Extend the NZB indexers and search engines with previews (cover and a streaming trailer) downloaded through SABnzbd For some articles on the newsgroup, you of...

Thanks aforty.
That's a very nice template perfectly suited for a GreaseMonkey iframe on Binsearch.

EDIT: The short link is not working on the main topic post :(

How to use SABnzbd Add by fileupload / addFile API call

Just because I lost some time getting to know how SABnzbd "Add by fileupload" aka "addfile" works, I though it would be good to share this simple HTML script to help API users understand how this works. The manual is unfortunately silent on this topic: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/api#toc29 Purpose: Add ...

Smart trafic shaping

Hello, Trafic shaping is a great option but who knows its maximum download speed? With my current cable telecom provider, it varies greatly: I can get x2 speed depending on the hours, which is now common with the cable and fiber deployment plans here in France (bottleneck is not the last mile). I wo...
