Re: Unofficial Google Chrome Extension
sorry to bump an old thread, but is anyone having problems having a blank popup window that only has links to open sab and the extension settings? It seems that I can't consistently get the extension to connect when not in the settings. I am running 6.0.472.63 version of chrome and 5.4 sab on windo...

Re: Download in History stuck with - "» Repair: Starting Repair" Status.
this may be a stupid question, but have you tried restarting sab?
i have a problem sometimes where a download will get stuck between 'repair failed' and 'repairing'
All i have to do is restart sab and I am good to go.

Re: Best Script to sort out movies?
i use a combination of 2 scripts for my movies...the first one will delete any extra files from the download directory @echo off setlocal set fcount=0 set nzbcount=0 set sfvcount=0 set par2count=0 set txtcount=0 set gifcount=0 set urlcount=0 set srrcount=0 set samplecount=0 echo. echo [Cleanup] Clea...

Re: Post Processing TV
you don't need to have any additional software for this to work, just take out the part of the script that is for the duplicate checking and have that run as part of your post processing. just make sure that you are using sab to rename your video files.

Re: Post Processing TV
Have a look at this thread. http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=4378.0 basically the final script will scan your download directory, and if there are duplicate files, it will delete the older of the two files. I had the idea of this script for the handling of proper and repack releases, but it...

Re: Idea on how to handle 'Proper' releases
Final Update: Here is my final script that I use in conjunction with TV Renamer (to rename my episodes), Media Companion (to scrape the applicable nfo, tbn and fanart for each show/episode) and XBMC (obviously to watch my tv. @echo off setlocal set fcount=0 set nzbcount=0 set sfvcount=0 set par2coun...

thanks shypike.
i figure that was the culprit, but I wasn't sure if I could acomplish this without removing the %en. I have removed it and it works as expected

Re: Idea on how to handle 'Proper' releases
just wanted to give an update to my idea. I posted a similar question on the computing.net message board and I got a response. Basically, I asked if someone could write up a script that would scan a directory for 2 duplicate files by matching the filenames up to a certain point. so for example the...

TV Show Sorting Adding Group Name after Season & Episode #
I have permanently switched to NZBs.org since newzbin went down a few weeks ago. One of the significant changes that I noticed was the sab sorting function. Since most tv shows pulled from nzbs.org doesn't include the episode name, the downloaded show was being sorted as follows: Show Name - 1x01....

Re: [WINDOWS] SABSync - TV Show Syncing
I don't know if you are taking feature requests, but I would love an 'rss filter interface' similar to the current one in sab. The reason I ask this is because right now I create empty folders for shows that I know will be on this summer, but I don't know or remember when they start. Unfortunately,...

Re: [WINDOWS] SABSync - TV Show Syncing
yea i figured that was the case. My router rebooted and changed my htpc's ip so my sab port wasn't being forwarded to the correct IP.
I will let you know if it happens again and what conditions surround it.

Re: [WINDOWS] SABSync - TV Show Syncing
I've run into a weird problem over the last two days. Randomly, my RSS.config, alias.config and quality.config will become blank for no apparent reason. My main config file stays intact. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Here is the log file right before I noticed the problem: Error: Unable ...

Re: [WINDOWS] SABSync - TV Show Syncing
thanks for the reply! it looks like it is working. I was able to get the nzb backup folder up and running and also was able to get sabsync to pass along the nzb to sab. I have a few additional questions. How do I go about adding shows? Is there a way for me to have sabsync proactively search for ...
