I fixed the permissions on the folders, but it still recreates the hierarchy in the opt folder.
Any other ideas anyone?

The folders are in the 'Share' folder on the drive (I'm running SAMBA), so shouldn't they be fully rw accessible? Or do I need to do something specifically with SAB? As far as the drive being mounted, I don't know if that's the case when alarm starts up from a boot (and I wouldn't know how to check ...
