Re: Sorting Not Working

Yes, the downloads are in the right category. I reverted to 3.3.1 and that works how I need it to so it probably is what you mentioned and I will just stay on 3.3.1 for now. Thank you.

Sorting Not Working

I've seen some similar reports of this but I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is exactly the same or not. A long time ago I would use the Sorting feature with the "No folders" preset to place files into my completed downloads directory instead of into a subfolder. I later switched to us...

Re: Downloads Extracting Twice

Sent. Thanks.

Edit: Looks like my assumption was off base and this was due to me having Recursive Unpacking enabled. Safihre explained that that was scanning the root of the NAS share after every single download, looking for more archives to unpack, and that was causing the slowdowns. Thanks again.

Downloads Extracting Twice

I am running SAB 3.1.1 (this also happens in 3.2.0) on Win10 and have a category that sets the Folder/Path to a share on my QNAP NAS, with a * at the end of it to prevent creation of job folders. This works in a general sense but it causes some weirdness with direct unpack. When I set that category ...

Re: Cannot create final folder

Was this workaround not included in 3.0.2? I am having the same issue again, or a very similar one. Are you able to re-host the hotfix version for me please? The link from Sep 3rd 404's. ERROR a few seconds ago Failed making (\\Matt-NAS\Share) Traceback (most recent call last): File "sabnzbd\f...

Re: Cannot create final folder

Hmm ok, I must be misremembering how long this particular download took to extract in older versions.

Thanks again.

Re: Cannot create final folder

That worked but direct unpack is very slow now. It only unpacked 31% of an 11GB file by the time the downloaded completed in 3m45s. In 2.X.X it would have unpacked all of it. Is that some side effect of the workaround you had to make? That's fine if so and I'll figure out which problem is more bothe...

Re: Cannot create final folder

Is there another way to have jobs not create extra folders? Maybe something in the Sorting options?

Re: Cannot create final folder

Sorry, yes, I am using categories. The one in this instance has the Folder/Path configured as: \\Matt-NAS\Share* The * is to have it put the files in that Share folder as opposed to a subfolder named after the NZB. If I remove the *, that fixes the issue. Is there another way to accomplish this? Let...

Cannot create final folder

Some completed downloads (not all) are failing to extract to my NAS with the following error. I thought this was maybe due to the 3.0.1 bug where NZB names weren't being parsed as strings, causing issues with names containing numbers, but the problem is persisting in 3.0.2. Never happened in 2.X.X. ...

I don't think it does. I'll get those logs for you this evening. Thanks.

Direct Unpack to NAS

I'm running the latest version of SABnzbd on a Win10 machine. Both my temp download folder and my completed download folder are local directories, but everything I download gets assigned a category with a specific Folder/Path setting to place the downloaded files onto my NAS. This works fine but I'm...

Re: Direct Unpack Not Working "Aborting DirectUnpack for None"

I have the same issue too with my indexer injecting a single fake article that causes direct unpack not to start. Can you tell me how to remove the missing article check? Thanks! Start with this: https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/install-from-source-windows The rest of this isn't exact, but whe...
