Re: sabnzbd api kits - code wrapper libraries for accessing the api
I develop around the more useful methods for sab in PHP...would be happy to help put something together.

Re: Wanted: Rating/Recommendation Program
Pandora and Netflix have ratings systems, but they do not speak to each other. Sabnzbd is a downloader and can download any type of media, including software. It sounds like what you are attempting to articulate would be solved by a ratings system in the indexing website of choice. On Nzbmatrix you...

Re: *Update* NZBMobile v1.3 for Android phones
I'd like to request nzbs.org search as well. They are the recommended search in sab IRC channel and I've never seen their API down. It's an RSS feed with direct NZB urls, so very easy to do compared to a full API implementation.

Re: Help a noob?
To answer your previous question, yes you are being overly sensitive. If everyone else believes he was being reasonable, perhaps you are at fault. If you call someone an "arrogant prick" while asking for help, you're doing it wrong. Personally, if I were in Shypike's shoes, I would have ...

Re: Newzbin replacement?
Call me paranoid but I think it's a good idea to cease all downloading of NZBs from newzbin. Lack of logging going into the future cannot be guaranteed, as the site owners are no longer in control. I'm not sure about the UK but there are such things as sealed injunctions, and newzbin could be pre...

Re: Concept: Sabnzdb+ built in search component (other index sites to be added)
EDIT:
The ReportInfo api just was published, and returns the entire record in XML. This will be coded into every app very soon methinks.

Re: Concept: Sabnzdb+ built in search component (other index sites to be added)
My only complaint with ReportFind is that it only displays reportID, name, and size of the entire release. Doesn't do languages, which is a big hassle with TV these days (and always with movies). I'm resorting to scraping for this stuff after the IDs are generated, but I'm rusty on my php and I re...

Re: Newzbin Mobile, a third-party frontend for mobile devices.
It's only $2, but the screenshots don't look like they give too much details about the search results. Maybe I'll feel wealthy in a few days and confirm my suspicions...

Re: Newzbin Mobile, a third-party frontend for mobile devices.
Would https make this more secure? or just add unneeded cost and complication to your job. HTTPS wouldn't help anything, I still have to ask you for your login details if it's going to work, still have to store it in plaintext somewhere (in a cookie), and still have to send it to newzbin in plainte...

Got it up and running first time on sab 0.4.9, with auth and api key and the http://url:port/sabnzbd/ format on the url.
