Re: Modify speed limit based on file age?

No, but why would you want this?
It could always be done using pre-queue scripts, but I am trying to understand why this would be beneficial?

Re: Sabnzbd has simply stopped running

I don't see anything special in these logs.
Could you run SABnzbd-console.exe from the SABnzbd folder.
Does it close right away?
If not, could you copy and paste the contents of the window to me (by mail probably easiest).

Re: Archive

The archive is not a separate table, it's just a flag on a job. So the storage is 'endless'. We are still improving the Archive, so indeed auto-delete from Archive is something that still needs to be added. There are already some new options in Config > Switches > History Retention. If you have any ...

Re: Sabnzbd has simply stopped running

Open Start menu and type Run.
Add this:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\sabnzbd
In the folder that opens, find the Logs directory.
Check what's in the log at the end.

In the bottom right, there's an arrow like icon to toggle the Archive.

Re: Open browser on adding NZB

I think if you have enabled Browser on startup in Config General, it should do that.
But just double clicking the tray icon also opens SABnzbd.

Re: Windows Portable (32bit and legacy)4.2.3 Virus

Browser doesn't alert of virus, they alert in case of executables that aren't downloaded regularly.

Re: Missing option - Config-Folders-Permissions for completed downloads

No, because there's no OS level permissions calls for us to use because you are on Windows.
You probably need to configure this on your nfs client.

Re: Missing option - Config-Folders-Permissions for completed downloads

Also, for it to copy to the Synology you need to set the complete folder to your Synology. Now it's just set to your local drive.
How do you expect it to be moved to the Synology?

Re: Downloading stops during large unpacking/moves

Something is blocking SABnzbd from doing the read/writes it needs to. Maybe a virusscanner? or maybe the disk's performance just really isn't good enough to do both at same time. You could just enable "Pause downloading during post-processing" in Config > Switches, so it's a bit more contr...
