Re: cannot run script - Deobfuscate.py

It's been removed because it's now part of SABnzbd itself.
In Config Switches, enable Deobfuscate final filenames.

Re: download copy moved to soon

You say it's moved too soon in the title? But it seems just the name is wrong?
Are you using Sorting?
Did you change any Category settings?
Do you use any external programs like sickbeard or Sonarr?

Re: Sabnzbd deletes .gz files

Exactly when is it deleting it? After it has downloaded the file from usenet?
It might just be in your Cleanup List in Config Switches.

Re: reinstall SABnzbd port 8080 already in use

Have you tried a restart of the NAS?
After a restart it should not come back alive.

No need to disable it. I guess it's working as expected then.

Re: Switched to Sabnzbd as Service, lost access to shared drive

Just to be sure, can you check that in Config > Specials the setting "local_ranges" is empty? It worries me a bit, because if the IP-addresses were changing this means that it was really blocking external attacks and now suddenly they are allowed. You should maybe not have used this settin...

Re: Switched to Sabnzbd as Service, lost access to shared drive

What warnings were you getting?
Because if your server is exposed and setup wrongly, it could mean now people have full access.

You need to login with that account and create the shares also under that account. Then they will be visible.

Re: Synology DSM 7.1: Permissions broken as of 3.6.0?

It's not the choice of SynoCommunity, it's Synology that forces this way to working starting with DSM 7. They introduced this internal users in an effort to prevent packages to have full access to your whole NAS. Same for the Linux permissions, it's Synology that forces this. Trust me, they hate it ...

Re: Switched to Sabnzbd as Service, lost access to shared drive

I think you indeed need the password for that local hotmail account. Not the server account!
Maybe worth a Google to see what password it should be? Maybe need to create some sort of local password, since it's an online account.

Re: Synology DSM 7.1: Permissions broken as of 3.6.0?

Every update of the SynoCommunity package, permissions-settings will be emptied again. This is done on purpose (not by SABnzbd, but by SynoCommunity package!) because like I said before, the Linux permissions of SABnzbd break the ACL permissions of Synology. For example: if SABnzbd applies it's Linu...

Re: Switched to Sabnzbd as Service, lost access to shared drive

Yes, the problem is that it needs to be logged on as a Local System Account. Can't do it without that.
Maybe the problem is that your account is a Microsoft account connected to your online account. I'm not sure exactly how that works..

Re: Synology DSM 7.1: Permissions broken as of 3.6.0?

We haven't hard-coded anything. This is what is done by DSM.
You can enable Debug logging in the Status window and then check the logs after it happens again, it will show exactly which permissions were applied by SABnzbd. The rest is all done by DSM/filesystem.

Could you enable Debug logging in the Status window and then after it happens again click Show Logging in the Status window and send the logs and time of failure to me at [email protected]
