Re: crashes and not working (like after every update)

Ok, so you went offensive because I couldn't help you debugging your scripts? I get defensive when those who can't or won't help debug are critical of another volunteer's efforts. It's quite a frustrating and thankless task trying to help a person with the mindset that "this should all be easi...

Re: crashes and not working (like after every update)

I'm seriously surprised. I remember you implementing a switch "just for me" for disabling auto-updates as well as having a nice convo about other issues you had with your script and QNAP and what not. And just because of a single convo where I was not able to help you debugging your script...

Re: crashes and not working (like after every update)

When was that issue fixed? I tried yesterday. I downloaded the latest sherpa qpkg and since it helped me last time (but I forgot exactly what I did), I searched for this https://github.com/OneCDOnly/sherpa/issues/199#issuecomment-1205154176 and did a clean and reinstall. I think i also did an upgrad...

Re: Hyphen in filenames

Ok, I'll include a flag to disable the auto-update during restart when I'm next working on the service script for SABnzbd. I don't know when this will be though. ;D Thank you very, very much! This change was made in SABnzbd 3.4, exactly 1 year ago.. So it's not really a recent update at all. https:...

Re: Hyphen in filenames

Thanks for checking in on my issue! Quite common? I never ( never ) saw a nzb posted with a name and alternative title together in the filename. Can you give an example I could search for? For me, this breaks everything. I normally don't have to manually edit the name. Now I have to. And if I don't ...

Re: Hyphen in filenames

Logfile sent including some findings. Because of sorting, everything behind a hypen is treated as "alternative title" and is only included if added with %GI<alternative_title>. I always used %sn/%s. Staffel/%sn.S%0sE%0e.%ext and it worked fine. Now I would have to use %sn- %GI<alternative_...

Re: Hyphen in filenames

It's 3.6.1 [73e8fad]

I do use NZBDonkey, I assume it uses the API. The problem also exists when renaming while in queue.

Hyphen in filenames

Hello,

earlier versions of Sab allowed me to use a hyphen in the name, eg. "Star Trek- Deep Space Nine" but since a few versions back, everything after the hyphen (including the hyphen) gets removed. How can i get back the old behavior?

Re: Update 3.5.1 doesn't work / sabyenc not found

I don't know exactly what the problem was but it was sherpa. Instead of validating the locally cached package with the online version it always kept using the local version. Once I got rid of the local version and reinstalled SAB everything worked again. The solution was: sherpa clean SABnzbd sherpa...

Update 3.5.1 doesn't work / sabyenc not found [sherpa, qpkg]

Hi, SABnzbd 3.5.1 was working fine until I started updating it. Well, I tried. I use sherpa to update. However my QPKG package is already the latest, thus sherpa just updated the opkg packages and other stuff like sabyenc. When SAB restarted it errored about a wrong sabyenc version (expected 4.0.0, ...

Re: Howto: multicore par2 on Debian, Ubuntu & derivatives

Oh, it finally got fixed? I talked about the issue with shypike and offered my help more than six month ago but see below: Summarizing: the 64bit and Multicore options make only sense for Windows and OSX where we can distribute the binaries for par2 and unrar. All other platforms are too much out of...

Re: Howto: multicore par2 on Debian, Ubuntu & derivatives

How come SABnzbd NEVER uses the multithreaded version? I entered -t+ into the web config setting "Extra PAR2 Parameters" but when SABnzbd is verifying or repairing the executed command is just /usr/bin/par2 r /path/to/first_file.par2 /path/to/first_file.rar ... I checked the code and found...
