Re: Error [Errno 8] Exec format error while running par2_rep
Hi, the maintainer uploaded a new version which was compiled for the right Arch. Re: Error [Errno 8] Exec format error while running par2_rep
Oh I did, @Sander I just only got back home yesterday as I was away for a few days: So you were absolutely correct. It seems the Par2 Version that was supposed to be compiled for X41 (ARM) Qnaps contains the Intel version: [~] # file /usr/bin/par2 /usr/bin/par2: symbolic link to /share/CACHEDEV1_DAT...

Re: Error [Errno 8] Exec format error while running par2_rep
Cheers! I will have a look and give feedback once I have some more conclusive information. The script is the one the comes built in sab if I am not mistaken so I would not think that is an issue. Thanks for the pointers!

[SOLVED] [Errno 8] Exec format error while running par2_rep
Hi, I am running on a QNAP 431+ (ARM) with the last QNAP OS 4.3.x SAB based on the Master Branch and using the nzbToMedia scripts by Clinton Hall for post processing: https://github.com/clinton-hall/nzbToMedia Version: 2.0.1 [be5bebb] Uptime: 2h Config File: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/SABnzbdplus/c...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
Hi, so I never managed to get this reported somewhere. But in the end, I sorted it out be removing everything and doing a fresh install based on another QPKG by an amazing guy called OneCD on the QNAP forum. Same principle as Clinton's really but using a different and very robust method. -> https://...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
@Sander When you talk about reporting this upstream, who do you think I should reach out to? I am fairly certain this has nothing to do with Clinton's start script. @safihre: I have not been home since we spoke but I will test is asap and get back to you here. I do know where SABnzdb is installed so...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
okay, I read that incorrectly earlier. My bad, sorry.
How do I start SABnzdb directly using the python script? As far as I understand it, I need to use the script either way so I am not quite sure how I am supposed to provide the output you requested. Sorry.

I'm on the road now, I'll try again and provide the output to make sure I didn't miss something earlier.safihre wrote:Clinton-hall is active, just let him know on the QNAP forums.
So to make sure: when you just run sabnzbd.py, both cryptography and yEnc work?

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
No error message. Pity! Rereading this thread, I want to verify a few things: - starting SABnzbd.py / sabnzbdplus (so the plain SABnzbd) works? - starting the /etc/init.d/sabnzbd.sh gives the error message? - that script /etc/init.d/sabnzbd.sh does some checking, and wants to compile a file (which ...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
Dirk (and Safihre), if we cannot solve, maybe we can SABnzbd detect it more elegantly? Can you run this on your QNAP: python -c "import cryptography; print dir(cryptography); print cryptography.__version__" Example output: $ python -c "import cryptography; print dir(cryptography); pr...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
hmm is the path defined in the sab start script= I think it was, yes. So, now I wonder where it SHOULD be pointing. DAEMON="/opt/bin/python" DAEMON_PACKAGE="$QPKG_DIR/Repository/lib/python" DAEMON_OPTS=" SABnzbd.py -f /${QPKG_DIR}/Config/sabnzbd.ini --browser 0 --daemon --pi...

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
I am afraid not, the package is called differently it seems. I bet this is just something small. The original installation went without any errors at all. Thank you kindly for taking the time to help me out here.sander wrote:I have no QNAP, but does this work?

Re: Error duing startup: CoreFoundation/CoreFoundation.h:
I think you have stumbled into further root causes, more deep down: Running setup.py install for cffi ... error c/_cffi_backend.c:15:17: fatal error: ffi.h: No such file or directory On Ubuntu I would try: sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libffi-dev python-dev Cheers! hmm I did that ...
