Re: How to restart Sabnzbd....Qnap TS 212

Can you please examine the service log for the SABnzbd QPKG?

You can view this with:

Code: Select all

/etc/init.d/sabnzbd.sh log
This log should show what happens when QTS attempts to start SABnzbd.

Re: How to restart Sabnzbd....

That old NAS and its low RAM will take a while to start your QPKGs. How long have you waited after the reboot began? Have you confirmed the out-of-memory killer hasn’t been active?

Re: How to restart Sabnzbd....

Hi Michael, and welcome to the forum. :)

SABnzbd will be automatically started after a reboot, unless you manually stopped it before the reboot via the QTS App Center (stopping a QPKG in the App Center also disables it, preventing startup on next reboot).

Re: New Installation - wizard question

.bak is usually just a copy of the original file, but with the name altered. Maybe try renaming it?

Re: Ability to change Category / Priority fields more easily

Yes, an upvote for this in the Glitter skin please. I'd like to be able to change the category by clicking on the current category name in the download queue. 🤓

Re: New Installation - wizard question

I/O error suggests the HDD is damaged. :(

Have you run a fsck on it?

Re: how are categories assigned for RSS feeds?

Check your sabnzbd.log for lines like these: 2024-09-23 12:14:04,103::DEBUG::[misc:389] Convert index site category "TV > HD" to user-cat "tv" 2024-09-23 12:14:04,104::DEBUG::[misc:389] Convert index site category "Movies > HD" to user-cat "movies" ... which ...

how are categories assigned for RSS feeds?

Hi guys, using SABnzbd 4.3.3 from source on Debian 12.7 and it's going great. Nice work. 🤓 Got a question though. I have a single RSS feed (it's to my bookmarks on DogNZB), and no-matter what is downloaded via this feed in SABnzbd, it's always assigned to the 'movies' category - even when it's a TV ...

Silly-me, just found a setting for this in Config -> Switches -> Queue -> Automatically sort queue.

Cheers! :)

sort queue automatically after adding new item?

Hi guys, just had a thought: is it possible to automatically re-sort the queue after an item (or items) have been added? I'd like to auto-sort by age (newest->oldest) after each item has been added. I realise in the right circumstances, this may lead to many partially-completed items waiting in the ...

Which operating system please?

How many servers and connections are configured in SABnzbd?

When it crashes, what do you see?

Re: Sabnzbd takes ALL available bandwidth!

Has your internet connection slowed-down? Have you run the speed tests in SABnzbd yet?
