Do you mean the 10GB testdownload from within SABnzbd? So: wrench symbol ("Status and interface options"), then click on first tab Status, and there click on "Test download" 10GB?

Have you tried different numbers of connections? What is the CPU load when you are downloading? Are you downloading to the SSD? Try setting downloader_sleep_time in Config/Special to 0 or 20.
