I had run into this as well just today.
You'll need to delete or move that folder to somewhere else, and let SABnzdb create a new folder (ideally with the same name)
I then had to give sc-download read/write so that my other apps could use it (like Download Station/Radarr/Sonarr)

OK. So the issue becomes that you cannot use a pre-existing shared folder for your downloads destination. I needed to create a new one. I assume that this is due to that it doesn't have ownership to begin with so therefore it can't adjust any of the proper permissions. Perhaps this isn't a big deal ...

Hi, Recently got the new version of sabnzdb under DSM 7 so likely to be an issue with DSM rather than sab. Have given the app full control to the the downloads folder as well as sc-download also having full control. Deleting and trying to get sab to create these folders also isn't working either The...
