Hello to anyone stewing over this. I uninstalled SABnzbd a second time, but also manually deleted the C:\Users\[my_user]\AppData\local\sabnzbd folder this time. Upon reinstall, i can connect to internet. Not sure what was causing the problem, but it appears resolved.
