Re: cant change host from 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0 [Linux]

As you use the PPA and probably SAB-as-service, check /etc/default/sabnzbdplus ... and especially the setting HOST.

Re: Every NZB failed...how/why?

Easy test: on the SABnzbd frontpage, click on the Wrench symbol (upper right corner), then Test Download "100MB"

What is the result?

It's also an option we don't really encourage anymore, since the fast-fail method we have now is quicker and in almost all cases just as reliable :)
So ... remove from GUI in next release ... ?

Re: Questions on CentOS install guide (issues)

Now that it is done, I think I'm going to buy some disks and play with ZFS. ZFS? Nice! Tip / request: please use SABnzbd 2.3.9 for a few weeks. If that works for you and you understand SABnzbd ... maybe nice for you (and us) to try SABnzbd based on python 3 ... It's now in something a alfa stage, s...

So if I see a .mp3 file I want, are we saying that I should not only download that but then, at the same time download a file that has a par2?
Yes. And SAB will only download the par2 files if repairing is needed.

Re: Questions on CentOS install guide (issues)

PS:

Welcome back in the Linux world!

Questions:
- which Linux distro did you use 20 years ago?
- why did you choose CentOS now?

Re: Questions on CentOS install guide (issues)

Which guide did you follow.

Yes, you need unrar and sabyenc.

https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/i ... entos-rhel is the (a?) guide. I don't know how uptodate it is, but it does contain the instruction for 'unrar'.

https://sabnzbd.org/wiki/installation/sabyenc.html is about sabyenc.

Re: Rename before extracting

So ... you see files like "blablabla.part08.txt"?

in the .NZB you can rename them, and then put the NZB into SABnzbd.

If you're on Linux, something like sed -i-e 's/txt/rar/' would work

Re: [UNRAID DOCKER] script help for folder with today's date

OK, guidance: how would you do it by hand from the Linux command line?

Reason: a script does no magic ... it's just the same sequence of commands you would issue by hand, which you can let happen automatically.

Re: [UNRAID DOCKER] script help for folder with today's date

What are you looking for exactly?
- a readily-available script, or
- guidance how to write such a script?, or
- someone who writes the script for you? If so, do you offer a bounty?

And: which OS? As you say "UNRAID DOCKER" ... is it Linux?
